Commissioning of Turnout by Queensland artist Stephen Hall for Surfers Paradise Fire Station. Fabricated from stainless steel, wrought iron, acrylic, neon and LED lights set to a controller. All lights flash including the pedestrian poles (which are inscribed with “The Fireman’s Prayer”) to alert pedestrians and motorists that the station is active and at times of danger.
