Working on the industrial story of the Parramatta River, Sydney artist Yasmin Smith found a perfect location for her artwork, Drowned River Valley on Cockatoo Island for this year’s Sydney Biennale, curated by Mami Kataoka. As a first time Biennale Patron, it was a pleasure to be involved in this most exciting sculpture event.
